Center Assistant Manager

We are looking for intelligent and competent individuals to work full time at our center. You must be organized, well-spoken, able to multi-task, and ALWAYS ON TIME. You must have a professional demeanor and appearance, excellent communication, organizational and "people" skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) is required.

The ideal candidate is someone who has/is:

• Management experience, preferably in health and fitness clubs
• Sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant is the Center Manager’s right arm and is responsible for managing the Center’s office activities including filing, organizing, managing multiple projects, responding to queries, scheduling meetings, online searches and just about any other administrative task the Center Manager needs.

We are looking for an intelligent and competent individual with 2-3 years of prior experience to work full time. You must be tech-savy, organized, dependable, able to multi-task, and ALWAYS ON TIME. You must have a professional demeanor and appearance, excellent communication, organizational and "people" skills.

The ideal candidate is someone who has/is:
• Prior office management experience
• Extremely tech savy, including Online searching, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Center Software
• Articulate and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Extermely Dependable
• Exceptional organization skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and multitask
• Strong attention to detail

Front Desk Receptionist
3 Positions Available

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for assisting and directing members/guests, monitoring incoming inquiries and ensuring proper check in procedures are followed. This position also provides customer service support to the club members/guests. You will meet and greet customers, handle telephones and assist in a variety of clerical support functions.

We are looking for 3 intelligent and competent individuals to work full time and Sub-Shifts at our front desk. You must be organized, well-spoken, able to multi-task, and ALWAYS ON TIME. You must have a professional demeanor and appearance, excellent communication, organizational and "people" skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) is required.

Cafe Manager

Café Manager will participate and lead the process of setting up a brand new café. S/he will have full responsibility for setting up, directing and managing the operations of the café, supervising personnel, managing the menu, overseeing staff schedules, inventory, ordering merchandise, ensuring customer service, product quality, freshness and kitchen sanitation.

Our Tea Room is a warm, friendly, comfortable and inviting place where customers become friends and extended family. We offer the widest selection of the finest quality teas and infusion from around the world, a small, select lunch menu with light, healthy choices as well as an exclusive power juices. Everything is made fresh daily using local produce, and changes with the season.

We are looking for an experienced individual to setup and manage our Tea Room. You must have 3-5 years of restaurant management or retail food experience, organized, well-spoken, able to multi-task, and ALWAYS ON TIME. You must have a professional demeanor and appearance, excellent communication, organizational and "people" skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) is required.

Duties include:
• Setting up the café from grounds up:
   - Working with management to determine the menu, merchandise and products to be sold & pricing
   - Finding best source and managing ordering and receipt of the supplies and merchandise.
   - Setting up presentation
• Managing the menu and preparing and cooking food items.
• Managing a staff of 3-5 people.
• Proactively generating ideas to develop new business opportunities and maximize cafe sales to contribute to the achievement of financial goals established for the cafe.
• Handling the recruiting efforts including interviewing, hiring, training and developing a team of qualified and dedicated cafe servers and cashiers.
• Managing billing, ordering, inventory and cost control, handling paperwork and accurate department records.
• Creating and maintaining an environment that is fun, educational and professional, and provides consistent high standards of customer service.

The ideal candidate is someone who has:
• Proven track record of success managing in a retail environment with 3-5 year experience.
• The ability to think strategically to help build this business from the ground up
• Proven leadership ability and effective problem solving skills
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, organization and customer service skills
• Ability to frequently reach, lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 40 Ibs. Ability to frequently do repetitious arm movements necessary for slicing, cutting and preparing various deli products.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk and move rapidly, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are necessary. Must be able to operate kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Requires knowledge of basic math and weights and measures.
• Must have knowledge of taste, content and perishability of products, safety and sanitation procedures and department policies and procedures.

Bookstore/Giftshop Manager

Duties include:
• Setting up the store from grounds up:
   - Working with management to determine the merchandise and products to be sold & pricing
   - Finding best source and managing ordering and receipt of the supplies and merchandise.
   - Setting up presentation
   - Working with management to determine best marketing strategy

• Maintaining and managing the sales floor:
   - Enhancing the customer experience by leading your team in providing strong levels of customer service. 
   - Monitoring store presentation and support brand consistency.
   - Utilizing merchandising skills to drive sales through effective merchandise presentations.
• Managing and leading your team of employees:
   - Conducting associate recruiting, interviewing and hiring.
   - Create and maintain team relationships.
   - Diagnose, develop and evaluate the performance of associates.

The ideal candidate is someone who has/is:
• Four year degree from a college or university.
• Proven track record of success managing in a retail environment.

Facilities Manager

The custodian/facilities manager will manage, plan, organize, and supervise the day-to-day maintenance, cleaning and care of the center and its equipment. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities and equipment. Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment as needed. Will use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications on a regular basis.

We are looking for an experienced and competent individual who has 3-5 year custodial experience, be dependable, and ALWAYS ON TIME. Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends) is required.

Duties include:
• Manage and supervise the day to day maintenance & cleaning of the center including managing the cleaning crew.
• Manage daily cleaning and replacement of towels, bathroom & shower supplies.anage the cleaning crew.
• Order custodial and other bathroom & shower supplies & equipment.
• Manage storage and setting up of tables and chairs for events.
• Inspect gym and all other equipment, request repair and verify work progress and completion of work for accuracy.

The ideal candidate is someone who has/is:
• Knowledge of the custodial methods, materials and equip. used in institutional setting.
• Knowledge of the quality and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of modern day gym equipment would be great.
• Knowledge of the principles and procedures for record keeping and reporting.
• Must have some plumbing, electrical, boiler, HVAC and carpentry skills; familiarity with spa and sauna operations a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, moving large, moderate heavy equipment and furniture.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to climb and work off ladders and scaffolding
• Flexible schedule must be able to respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.
• Must be prepared to support facility related projects during facility downtime on weekends and during evening hours as required.
• Must be able to work in public areas and in multicultural environments.
• Ability to successfully handle multiple competing projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervision.
